I cannot run away anymore. I am tired of running away. Through the memories that I awakened from my previous life, I realized how much of a coward and a useless person I was within the novel's story.

Always running away, always crying, always being used as a plot device to bring my brother even more unnecessary hardships, always made to be someone that gets beaten and cries. Even in my previous life… I was always someone who looked upon all those better than me, someone who had nobody, and who was always seen as useless.

I had a regretful first life, I cannot simply waste my second life being a pussy.

His entire body was suddenly beginning to be covered by red scales, as the tattoo on his hand in the shape of a snake eating its own tail started to glow. This was the power of a Demonic Human, people that make contracts with powerful Demons and gain immense power in exchange for their sanity and soul.

"{Uroboro's Venomous Fangs}!!!"

His entire aura erupted as it shaped into a ferocious, red-colored snake, his dagger beginning to flare with great amounts of a venomous, green-colored flame.

However, I evaded the attack once more, leaving only a trail of emerald winds behind. Han's face distorted in anger as he saw me escape from his lethal attack, which shattered the ground and left a spiderweb-shaped crater behind.

"You're slow, Hans," I said with a smirk to provoke him further, as I slashed the air using the Blazing Dragon Tooth, flames erupted from within the magic weapon, which promptly combined with the winds the Sylph ring granted to me.

FLUOSH!

"Ngghh…!"

BOOOMMM!!

The massive blazing explosion reached Hans in mere seconds, but I saw him evade at an incredible speed, though once he appeared behind me with half his face burned, I smiled.

Durability decreases whenever the True Dragon Flames are conjured.

"Those are the flames of a dragon, Hans."

Han's face distorted in anger as it burned, his dagger covered in venom reached my face in a mere second, but I evaded by a hair, reaching his back in a split of second and then wrapping my legs around his waist. His eyes opened wide as he saw my dagger about to reach his neck.

"AAAGH!"

In a fit of wrath, a powerful shockwave was unleashed from his body, blowing me away from his body as I fell down into the hard and cold ground.

"Unnggh…! You damn bitch! Stop playing these **ty tricks on me…" Hans groaned, slowly walking towards me.

"Tricks… Are the only way I can win, oh my dear Hans." I smiled back at him while vomiting a mouthful of blood.

"Hah! As if- Unkh?!"

Hans realized a bit too late that all his legs were wrapped around with the ultra-hard silk made by Violet himself.

"What the…?! Silk?! Where-"

"Kyuu!"

FLASH! FLASH! FLASH!

Suddenly, Violet emerged from the shadows, beginning to move around Hans as I ordered him previously. Confusing him as he moved way faster than the two of us combined.

"What with this damn bug?! You tamed a monster?!" Han was shocked.

SPLASH!

As he was being distracted, I splashed more of my venom around the room, and the smell of gasoline started filling the entire place, alongside other deadly chemicals.

"You know, Venom Secretion is a funny Skill, it has way more power than your little head imagines. It is the literal power to generate any sort of chemical as long as you have the mana and can imagine its components." I said with a smile. "Dumbasses like you that never studied a single thing, of course, have no **ing idea how to properly use it."

"W-What are you implying- EH?!"

"Burn."

SLAASH!

I slashed the air as Violet jumped towards me before that, reaching my head. The dragon flames began spreading around the entire room, transforming the entire place into an inferno, which quickly reacted with Han's own body.

FLUOSH!

"AAAGGH! W-What the…?! SHIT! AAAAAGGGH!"

Naturally, his entire clothes reacted to the flames as I drenched them with a venom specialized to combust when being touched by flames. It happened when I almost cut his neck.

Hans quickly managed to free himself from the silk trapping him, but the flames engulfed his entire body, burning his clothes as even his scales started to burn to a crisp. If these were normal flames, it might be different, but the flames of this dagger were special.

"YOUUUU…!"

Hans, while burning alive, began running towards me faster than I imagined! I guess he's still capable of fighting even while being burned alive. Amazing, I suppose Demonic Humans cannot be underestimated.

Good thing I didn't.

"RAAAHHH!!!"

Han's entire body began to transform more and more, making him resemble a reptilian humanoid covered with burning and regenerating scales while his hands turned into gigantic sharp claws, and he had a long snake-like tail behind his snake-like face.

Ding!

Han roared, attacking with all his strength. I coated myself on Emerald Winds using the power of the Sylph's ring, evading his blows while slashing at him with the Dragon Tooth and covering him with more dragon flames.

He was taking damage, but it was going to take a while for him to weaken now that he transformed.

"GRRRHHH… These damned flames…!"

FLASH!

Hans quickly reached to me once more, slashing at me with his long claws while unleashing projectiles of venom over my body with his mouth.

CLASH! CLASH! CLASH!

"Stop running away!"

Hans cried furiously, as he began hastening his movements, but with the ring I received, I was always a hair faster than him, barely making it until…!

The Scythe of Thanatos began overflowing with a black aura. Hans reacted to this powerful, evil presence, as he suddenly jumped away in fear of death itself.

His eyes stared at me amidst the inferno of flames, as he felt something emerging from my scythe that really scared him. When I took it out, I didn't use it at all. There was a good reason for that, and it was within the scythe's own abilities…

[Sacrifice]: A Unique Ability that only appears once a Sacrifice has been given. Enhances the weapon's Attack by 10000 and grants a 1% chance to instantly kill a foe whenever they're slashed with this weapon. Durability decreases constantly while in use.

To activate this weapon's powers, I gave a fragment of my soul, a tenth of it. It was affordable, and the soul pain was horrible, but it was not beyond recovery. Now, based on the Durability, I have 100 seconds to kill this bastard.

"T-That Scythe…! Just what is that?!" Hans cried in fear.

"This? It is what's going to end your life, Hans." I smiled back at him, as I leaped forward, slashing at him with the scythe using all of my strength.
